On her sixteenth birthday, Himari Momochi receives a message stating that she inherited a palace called “Momochi House “. After she grew up in an orphanage, this palace is the only remaining thing for her true family, so Himari does not pay any mind of rumors that it may be inhabited. Upon entering it, AOI Nanamori and his companions, ISE and Yukari, who seem to sit in her new home. Although they warn her against leaving the house, Himari pledges to be the person who makes them leave instead.
But soon, she was attacked by Youkai and discovers that the house is located in space between the world of the biology and the world of the soul. More surprisingly, AOI was chosen to be the guardian of the house – a position that is originally dedicated to Himari. But this superpower came at a terrible price: AOI cannot leave the palace, and its presence in the human world has been erased.
